Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (USV) is a research and higher education public institution, based in Bukovina region (North-East of Romania) providing Bachelor, Master and Doctoral educational programs. Our mission is to promote and support the creation and dissemination of knowledge by means of high-quality education and training activities and Research & Innovation. USV’s Research Centres are oriented towards applied research. In September 2009 and 2013, the University was accredited as a national research and development organization by the National Authority for Scientific Research and ranked among the top Romanian universities with outstanding research results.

Currently, the University has 10 faculties, 16 departments, over 9600 students, 350 teaching staff and about 90 associated teachers. USV runs 53 Bachelor programs, 42 master programs, 8 postgraduate programs, and 14 doctoral fields. Following institutional assessments made by Foreign Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education granted the High Degree of Confidence, in September 2013. Regarding innovation, USV ranked first among Romanian universities, in 2014, according to the classification made by State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) based on the number of patent applications submitted. USV was awarded the Creativity Trophy in 2014 by OSIM, as well as many outstanding prizes, medals and awards by international bodies, in recognition of the high innovation potential.

The autonomy of all teaching and research activities are guaranteed and ensured by the University Charter approved by the Romanian Ministry of Education. The quality standards of the processes run by USV are externally evaluated every five years by Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS), or other quality assurance agency approved by the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). The quality is also evaluated by Internal Quality Auditors.

USV promotes cultural diversity through international opening aimed at enhancing international integration through collaboration with EU and international universities. The mobility of students, staff and researchers remains central to USV strategies since these experiences allow students to strengthen considerably important transversal skills, such as tolerance, confidence, problem-solving ability, critical thinking and curiosity, which are among the highly valued skills by employers. USV makes efforts to approach holistic internationalization strategy encompassing various types of academic cooperation.

Danmar Computers LLC, established in 2000, is a private company operating in the field of Information Technology and providing vocational training in this field. Danmar has experience in developing modern Web and mobile applications that are used for educational purposes. Danmar also has long-term experience of carrying out European projects within which the R&D staff conducts research and prepares trainings tailored to the needs of various learners. It has successfully implemented over 90 projects within Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Progress and recently Erasmus+.
